NAMM 2014

As some of you know I got to go to NAMM in Anaheim CA with Takamine Guitars. NAMM is a trade show for all of the folks that make the music industry go. Some big rollers, managers, artists, and players of all sorts participate in NAMM. I’m very thankful to be a part of the Takamine artists family.

The show was full of folks, but I mainly hung out with the people on the Fender Guitar booth. Fender owns the right to distribute Takamine, Ovation, Guild, Grestch, and many other well known brands.

Here’s a few pics from the show. Hope you enjoy and if you like to ask any questions or make any comments, feel free to email me personally guitarlancer@hotmail.com as I disable comments due to too much spam. (not the boxed kind of meat)

First time for me to have a board like this! 🙂

Met another guy who was an artist for Boulder Creek Guitars named Lance Allen, except spelled Allyn.

How cool? What are the odds??

I was in the list of folks to play, with some other amazing artists from around the world.

Jake Allen, Nancy Sanchez, Monte Montgomery, Doyle Dykes, Megumi Mori, The White Buffalo, and ha lol, Lance Allen, the headliner!

Overall fun trip and I look forward to doing more things like that this year!

Big thanks to David Gonzalez and Takamine A&R David Vincent for having me out. Thanks to Danny Guion for being really cool guy to hang with and my bro Brian Blood.

Thanks also to Mike Markure who is the fella who started my relationship with Takamine Guitars.

Headed to California Next Weekend

Guitar Center Expo

Open to public, $10 at the door. Test the latest gear and talk to brand representatives like me. 🙂

Come say high if you’re in the L.A. area. I’ll be playing my very special Takamine guitar, “Mojo” and sharing music and stories  from my newest album! Come say hi and give me a high 5.

By the way. I’ve only got 24 hours to go on Kickstarter. I’ve met my goal, but every little bit helps.

I was hoping for 100 pledges! Let’s make it happen!

I also plan to soon release some of my cover songs as limited digital releases. Keep in touch for the latest updates!

Favorite G-Series Takamine Acoustic Guitar

Hey Guys I got this guitar in today and wanted to share with you why it is my favorite Takamine G-Series acoustic guitar.

  • Solid Cedar top provides nice warm overtones.
  • Satin Finish allows for louder volume and nicer tone.
  • Geared tuners for accurate tuning
  • string through bridge helps with guitars volume
  • 1 5/8″ at nut allows for easy playing guitar
  • Great Set up right out of the box!

Designed and built under the supervision of Takamine’s head luthiers, G-Series guitars are created to serve all players from the hobbyist to professional. The GS330S dreadnought is known throughout the industry as the best playing acoustic guitar at this price level. Features a solid cedar top for a warm, deep resonant tone while the ultra light satin finish adds to the overall resonance of the guitar. The mahogany neck and dual action adjustable tension rod keeps the guitar playing true no matter what the environment. A super fast neck and amazing tone make this our most popular G-Series guitar.
